I love her but I dare not say,

I cannot let my words betray

my feelings. Not yet. Not today.

 

For I'm not free, and nor is she,
Can't kiss in public joyfully,
Or hold each other, tenderly.
 
But one day soon I'll cross the sea,
Be by her side, my love and me,
And we'll be one, eternally.
