Just pop the pill
and lie quite still,
feel the numbness creeping?
The utter peace
of stress release;
panic attacks now sleeping
No horse-hair cord,
or dangling sword
no hyperventilating.
Time to assess
poor Damocles
and halt the palpitating
But soon act two
will start anew;
this sojourn surely passing.
Then, back on stage
To re-engage
With fears cunningly massing

Many a true word is spoken in a poem, Chris. Which is certainly the case here.
I agree with Jupiter, 'nice one' definitely.
