I love you; it is that simple!
Every time I turn another page
in this book of life and see you there,
the clichés tumble over each other
and pile, almost embarrassingly;
my heart leaps,
my spirits soar,
my senses heighten and
I lose all reason!
Infatuation, my green-fingered
alter ego whispers slyly;
sowing the seeds of doubt.
Lust, my dancing hormones
scream uncontrollably;
salivating; throbbing.
And I did for too long deny
their legitimacy;
consider them imposters
in the court of purity.
It was only when accepting
them as elements; ingredients,
parts of the whole
that I could recognize their
essentialness in the recipe
that is love. And that is how
I love you; it is that simple!

Do you mean mount as in
Do you mean mount as in accumulate in line 5? Mound could work but it does have a comedic tinge.
You need 'too' long in last stanza.
If you have trouble with these, my old English teacher (whom we rather unkindly called Dracula, due to his cadaverous look and character ac-TOR diction) used to spout this...
Never, ever, forget to
put two 'o's in your 'too'.
It's worth writing down, we did. Say it in a Christopher Lee voice and you won't often make a mistake again. It has the added advantage of showing the correct usage of its two homonyms.
