Found It!!!!!

My Son's laptop broke, it was insured, but we had put it away safe, the receipt and with the insurance details with it, my Husband Paul and I looked all over for it. It was SO frustrating, knowing it was 'there' not lost, but we couldn't remember where we had put it! Then yesterday as we were in the bedroom sorting out what we were going to take to the car boot, I said to Paul, who seem to be still looking for the receipt, “I'm not looking for it any more, I am not bothered now if we don't find it, he can use our computer” then Paul reached out his hand to the bookcase next to his bed and pulled a shop bag from it, and it was the bag that contained what we'd been looking for!!!!

Amazing!!!!!

We sat on the bed and read it, yes it was still covered by the insurance, so we went straight to the shop, the man typed in the number from the back of the laptop and saw it was the same on the receipt and said, “Yes it can be repaired,” he took our phone number and said he'd contact us in a few days.

WoW!!!!!!!

I still can't believe it. Now all I need to do is find the Wii controls, that I hid when Daughter Meghan was naughty and disrespectful! I I'd done it many times before and after wards I'd given it her back, but about 15 months ago she was extra rude, so I took them and said to myself, “Where I put it now, she will never find it!”

But I forgot where I put it!!! I HAVE looked every where! Alas still not able to find it! I have tried to think If I was me and cross WHERE would I put it, somewhere clever, that no one else would think off, would I put it in her room? She wouldn't think of looking in there!! I just wished I'd told Paul too, then he would be able to remind me.

The frustration!!!!

I did 'give in' last month and after much searching bought a second hand one of eBay! Thirty quid, it cost me and it wasn't even perfect!! I didn't know that even those can be fakes, SO many on that site, that are, but the one I got, thankfully isn't. I said to Paul, “I bet when I get this second hand one I'll find the original one,” but it still hasn't turned up. I have no one else to blame, but myself.

Everyone has different ways of dealing with their kids, this is ours, removing the item they love, for a day or two. If homework isn't done or refusing to go to bed like midnight, when it's school the next day OR late for school!

But going back to the title of this story, SO glad I found it, it took ages to sink in yesterday! I said I'd give an up date and this is it ….... and because I said lots of prayers, I thanked Him too.
