The Doctor

He was my first doctor at outpatients he had assisted in the shock therapy he knew me. I was devastated. Even then already he warned of drinking and that it was really not a good idea. Doctor Joburg works by the book. If he gave you a letter it was sealed and you had to sign for it so he gave me a letter like that for the army and there was no problem for discharge.
Once I looked at my friend next door Jules through the police-van's bars just winked at him the business was highly illegal. Gramma (ooh-mah) was reprimanded actually the doctor said I was an adult and not under her or anyone else's command and I am responsible and accountable for my actions. That was really appreciated. This particular episode was highly irregular and in fact it was illegal.
He truly never discouraged me and never gave up on my behalf but he did agree that it would probably be better to study mathematics he said that engineers work very hard and very long hours and yes maybe I wasn't cut out for that. He just warned me to remember in the mathematics studies that “Rome wasn't built in one day”.
Later on when I was there to see him with my Gramma again he just said he doesn't think I can sing and neither can he, destroying my singing career with just a few words.
Following up I saw him at the old outpatients for a while and again at the new outpatients building a few times. I saw him at the a local clinic's outpatients as well and later my brother did too. They didn't always get along that well but there wasn't anything serious. At one stage I told him that I think I'm drinking too much and was attending some group meetings he said didn't have objections and it is my decision.
There were some con-artist crooks types in the hospital with threats and trying to blackmail us from inside there with cell-phones, we had made the mistake of making friends with them as army buddies comrades and so on. There was one guy in particular.
So I learnt don't make buddies with the other patients and when you leave let them stay behind and go on with your life when you go. Forget about them you've got nothing to lose. Most guys there are ex-special forces believe it or not and well I just phoned Prof Joburg he took care of it that's that end of story.
Not that way inclined but yes, a very pleasant amiable and handsome man. We come a long way I saw Prof Joburg last at the Lakefront I bumped into him over Easter 2009 he was as kind and friendly as always. I like him a lot he is open and honest he is a good man.
