She gathers rain
That waters the words
Sown as seeds
By these very hands
From God’s tiny acorns
Do mighty oaks rise
And from our midnight ramblings
Do stories emerge
Planted on paper
To blossom in minds
For others to cultivate
Prune and admire
A garden for readers
To rest and reflect
In quiet contemplation
Of cause and effect
A refuge for summer
Winter and fall
A world of tranquillity
Behind the garden wall
A place where my madness
Is all I can trust
While characters dance
In shadows and dust
Stories of heartbreak
Of pleasure and pain
But only made real
Because she gathers rain.

Nice words and sentiments in
Nice words and sentiments in this poem, ton.car. Excellent rhyming pattern too. Much enjoyed. This bit really grabbed me:
A place where my madness
Is all I can trust
While characters dance
In shadows and dust
But actually, I loved it all.
