ninth night pales as a dusk moon climbs
hooded stars complete their right crimes,
blood pricked thorns embrace licensed blooms
`til petals scream and slash costumes.
rack on rack as leather is stretched
disgraced vices are not farfetched;
unconscious mind allows the dreams
taboo tapes in sinister scenes
waste no time in setting the stage
in centred place a metal cage.
cuffs and crops impair it still more
the dirty night breaks down the door
to hear the rhapsody in chains
and leave convention in her stains.
