I am stuck in a desolate land

Read this thinking as if you are stuck on a lonely island.

I don’t know how I have reached here,
I do shout but there is no one to hear.
I am stuck in a desolate land,
No food, no water,
No place of shelter or any cover.
No place I had ever visited was any hotter.
It felt like I was blessed and cursed at the same time,
Blessed to be alive,
And cursed for being alive.
Being alive without any amenities,
No friends and no enemies.
I want to go back,
I want to meet my family,
I want to meet my friends,
But alas! All I had here was,
Seals in the name of family,
And amphibians in the name of friends.
I was dejected, I was lonely,
I almost cried like a baby.
I didn’t know what I should do now,
But then I remembered the case of Robinson Crusoe,
This very thought made me think,
I knew that I had the will to do what all he did,
But not the courage.
I was feeling horrified,
I wish I had died,
But as it is there was not much scope of life ahead,
I patiently waited for death to arrive,
I patiently waited for the curse to end,
I patiently waited for the blessing to end.
I was feeling dizzy now,
But still I wanted to get out of there somehow.
I hope this reaches you someday,
Till then I am waiting here for my mayday.
I don’t have anything else to say but just a goodbye,
I write this lying down under the beautiful blue sky.
