Each trees a glum tree
in cold winter gloom
but Peach trees and Plum trees
soon burst into bloom.
in cold winter gloom
but Peach trees and Plum trees
soon burst into bloom.
Then Cherry trees and Apple trees,
so sad with branches bare,
dance merrily and happily;
spring flowers in their hair.
so sad with branches bare,
dance merrily and happily;
spring flowers in their hair.
And Pear trees and Damson trees
grow pretty blossoms too
and wear them quite handsomly
for all the world to view.
grow pretty blossoms too
and wear them quite handsomly
for all the world to view.
And when pretty Spring goes
and bright blossoms are shed
then fruit, ripening, grows
of gold and green and red.
and bright blossoms are shed
then fruit, ripening, grows
of gold and green and red.

yeh, it's beautiful and sunny this time of year, creation opening a door and we step outside.

Hi well-wisher,
I like the simplicity of this little poem. It is innocent and fresh and welcomes in spring. I just noticed the blossom on the trees today.
Best Wishes, HW
