The creatures who make mountains

If moles carve molehills out then

I would really hate to see

the creatures who make mountains;

for, like mountains, they must be,

their claws, chisels of sharpened steel

to cut and carve through stone.

Oh, if those fearsome monsters are real

they can just leave me alone.
