Doodles

I dawdle all day
and a doodle, I do;
draw oodles of strudels
and noodles with stew.

 

A poodle who paddles
a canine canoe
and a candlelit couple
canoodling too.

 

I doodle a fiddle
and doodle a bow;
I doodle a kid who
can twiddle his toes.

 

I doodle a yokel
who yodels the blues
and doodle a cockerell,
"Cock-a-doodle-doo!".

 

I doodle a diamond
that dazzles and shines
and even a dozen
new doodle designs.

 

And one final doodle
the word, "Toodle-oo!"
then undo all my doodles;
the doodles I drew.
