1.
I can't stand this century;
its a penitentiary.
Thats why I've built a time machine.
I can't stand this century;
its a penitentiary.
Thats why I've built a time machine.
2.
In my time transporter I'm
emigrating back in time
to when the world was young and green.
In my time transporter I'm
emigrating back in time
to when the world was young and green.
Chorus:
I'm going back
to the good old days;
when people lived
by the good old ways.
I'm going back
to the good old days;
when people lived
by the good old ways.
'cause here and now
just feels like a cage
so I'm going back
to a different age.
just feels like a cage
so I'm going back
to a different age.
3.
I will go there yesterday;
go back to the best of days;
enter a page of history.
I will go there yesterday;
go back to the best of days;
enter a page of history.
4.
Leave all of the futurephiles;
travel many years like miles
to find the age that is for me
Leave all of the futurephiles;
travel many years like miles
to find the age that is for me
Chorus:
I'm going back
to the good old days;
when people lived
by the good old ways.
I'm going back
to the good old days;
when people lived
by the good old ways.
'cause here and now
just feels like a cage
so I'm going back
to a different age.
just feels like a cage
so I'm going back
to a different age.

nice sentiment, but I'm not sure the good old days were that good, especially if you were landless and poor, which was much the same thiing.
