Through the woods and over the hill,
that’s the way to Grandma’s house.
Over the bridge and past the mill,
that’s the way to Grandma’s house.
Through the woods and over the hill,
over the bridge and past the mill,
and through the field of daffodils,
that’s the way to Grandma’s house.
Through the field of daffodils;
that’s the way back home again;
over the bridge and past the mill;
that’s the way back home again.
Through the field of daffodils,
over the bridge and past the mill;
though the woods and over the hill,
that’s the way back home again.
(I will admit that this was inspired by Lydia Maria Childs famous poem "Over the river and through the woods" but it is very different to that poem)
