Grass is the green bassline to a flower melody;
grass, though all its blades shine in the sun, we seldom see;
grass we take for granted, like a carpet but outdoors
while all the pretty flowers, with showers of praise, we pour
but grass is like the ebony that holds up heavens lights
without the grass of green the flowers wouldn’t gleam so bright.

Nice little poem, Well-wisher, you've managed to say a lot in a small space.
