“The green wheel barrow.
Just for the night.
It’s not too narrow.
I will fit just right”,
said Mr Fox
of his bed box.
That was until
it rolled downhill.
“A

cried Mr Fox.
He’d really had a nasty shock.
“I know better now”, he said,
“wheelbarrows make terrible beds”.
But, as he got up from the ground,
infront of his fox feet he found
an old discarded cardboard box,
“Ahh! Just right”, said Mr Fox.

Like this, well-wisher...a lot.
My goodness you were quick off the mark with the IP. I don't know where to start, although just at the minute, I am trying to recover from a rather nasty hornet's sting; it obviously objected to my foot squashing it when he it crawled into my shoe whilst I was doing the gardening this afternoon.
Anyway, your lovely poem, takes some of the pain away, and certainly made me smile. Thank you;-)

Sorry to hear about your foot tina, have you tried running over the hornet with a green wheelbarrow and then writing about the experience?

John - thanks, so very much for your good wishes;-)
As to the 'vengeance' option, I am totally one hundred percent hooked on crosswords, especially the Saturday Prize one in the Daily Telegraph, and somehow, looking in my crystal ball, feel that the answer to 9 ACROSS tomorrow, 'VENGEANCE' will definitely be the answer;-)
Thanks again for the lift your poem gave me. And I mean that;-)

Now there's a thought, Terence, and I do happen to have a green wheelbarrow. My just try that tomorrow. At the moment, my foot is about twice its normal size, and my husband is threatening an imminent trip to A & E, so I'm just off to have my bath to see if the water can perform a miracle. If not...your green wheelbarrow idea is the preferred option.
