If every 4 years there is an extra day in the year, February 29th
And if 365 x 4 equals 1460.
Then every 1460 years a missing year (and by missing I mean unrecognized) comes into existence since 1460 years is really 1461 years.
And if 10 times 1460 is 14 600 then every 14 600 years a missing decade comes into existence.
And if 14 600 x 10 equals 146000
Then every 146000 years a missing century comes into existence.
And if 14 600 x 10 equals 14 6000
Then every 14 6000 years a missing millennium comes into existence.

I think it's the Leap Year that makes it all happen correctly. However banks don't pay the extra day of interest and employers don't pay an extra day of wages - so it's a bonus to the capitalists yet again. Ho Hum.
