If what atheists believe is true
then, all my life, I will belong to you
but, if Christians are right, I know
even in Heaven our loves star shall glow.
If Buddhists are right then, life after life,
in some beautiful form you'll be my wife.
Whatever else is true, one thing is sure:
as long as love may live, ours will endure.

I guess living in the moment ain't too bad, live lived in a future glow is full of woe and remembering and honouring our past is our due, but trying to live there is like a library book well overdue.
