The Most Northerly Ice Cream Van in Britain

There is a cautionary tale told among mobile ice cream retailers; one that has been handed down from father to son for generations about a tragic fate that once befell the owner of "The Most Northerly Ice Cream Van In Britain".
The van belonged to a man named Robert Voe and was pitched in Easter Head in Caithness which is the most Northerly point on the British mainland and he had a good buisness for many years because lots of tourists eager to see Britains most Northerly point often got a craving for Ice cream particularly during the summer months.
But then one day another Ice cream van appeared about 200 feet further north, belonging to a man named Jack Cumming and it too had, painted upon its side, the proud boast of being, "The Most Northerly Ice Cream Van In Britain".
Ofcourse the moment that Voe saw Cumming's van he was outraged and told Cumming straight.
"You can't have "The Most Northerly Ice Cream Van In Britain", I've got "The Most Northerly Ice Cream Van In Britain" so just piss off", he said or words to that effect.
"But", argued Cumming, "My van is farther North than yours and so you're lying, breaking the trade descriptions act and I'm not".
And so Voe decided that what he would do is move his van back further.
He moved it atleast  half a kilometer further back.
"There", he said to himself once his van was parked, "Now my van is still the most Northerly ice cream van in Britain".
But then, seeing him do this, Cumming decided that he would move his ice cream van back and so he moved it back almost a mile.
And this race to be the most northerly ice cream van continued for some time, one van moving back and then the other moving further back until, unfortunately for Voe, his ice cream van went so far back that it fell off the edge of the shore and into the Atlantic ocean.
Fortunately Cumming was not really a bad person and so not only did he dive in to save Voe from his sinking ice cream van but he also, because he felt so sorry for what had happened to his rival, decided to make Voe his partner and so now they both own the most Northerly ice cream van in Britain.
