Two steel cages stood upon the magic stage, side by side.
In one was a man dressed in a top hat, white tie and tails. In the other was a white rabbit.
"Before your very eyes", said the magician, raising up his wand dramatically, "I shall switch places with the creature in the other cage".
Then, slowly, the magician tapped his wand, three times, upon the bars of his cage and an astonished crowd gasped as they saw man and rabbit instantly change places.
The audience clapped and cheered as the magician took a bow.
"Thank you, thank you", he said, proudly.
Just then, however, the man in the white tie and tails started to become angry
"This is not right", said the man, throwing down his top hat on the floor of the cage, "I am not an animal. You’re the animals".
"Quiet human!", said the rabbit magician.
Looking out at the audience, the man saw hundreds of white rabbits, sitting in red velvet seats, glaring at him, booing and hissing.
Life had not been easy for humans since the rabbits took over.
Just then however, the man’s eyes widened in horror as he saw two of the rabbits fluffy tailed assistants wheel on a large oblong box.
"Ahh, yes…now for my next trick", said the rabbit with a wicked, buck toothed smile, picking up a metal saw, "Sawing the creature in half".
