The Rotation Stick and the Object of the game:
- Players have an object called a Rotation stick that is like a combination lock in that it is a stick with four hexagonal discs that rotate around it, but instead of numbers, on each side of each disc is a picture or symbol (A star/ A heart/A bell/ A flower/a Smiley face or a rainbow)
- Players pass the stick back and forth between them, taking turns to rotate one of the discs.
- The object of the game is to line up four symbols that are the same. Each time a player has four symbols that are the same they win a point.
Passing Rules:
- Say, hypothetically, that there are two players.
- Player 1 first asks Player 2 to name something (for example an animal beginning with F).
- Now say that Player 2 answers, FROG.
- There are four letters in FROG and so the players pass the Rotation stick back and forth four times and whichever is the last player holding the stick gets to turn one of the discs.
How to win: who ever manages to score four points first wins the game.
