Doll Beads – (little toys to take anywhere)
Doll beads are collectible beads that are little figurines of different characters with holes in them for threading. Children can buy a packet of them which comes with a necklace or bracelet to thread them onto and when they want to play with them they just slide them off of the necklace or bracelet. It would be like having a little toy box that you could carry around with you everywhere.
Choo-choo necklace – Childrens fashion item/ jewellery
This is a necklace that is like a long steam train with different coloured carriages and a smiling engine pulling it. The engine and carriages all have little wheels on them and so the wearer could take of the necklace and pull the train along the ground.
Scaredycat
This is a robot that runs away from you. If you try to come near it, a sensor detects you getting nearer and the robot tries to escape you. Several small scaredy cats could be used in a game for two people, the person who catches the most before the time runs out is the winner.
Toy Idea – Giant Mother Doll
A Giant mother is a doll with a bright coat full of pockets and in each pocket is a little child doll.
She is a giant who carries children around with her in the pockets of her coat. Perhaps she could even have a handbag with a little child doll in it.
I like this because a child would get several toys for the price of one.
Girlbot – (Kind of a Sci-fi Barbie)
This is like a Barbie doll but she’s a robot and dresses in futuristic looking clothes and drives a hover car and lives in a futuristic house and all her friends are robots too but not only that, every doll comes with a little cute robot helper.
Enchanted House – Transforming toys for girls
House hold objects that transform (just like transforming robot toys) into characters, for example furniture or a washing machine or a vacuum cleaner. The objects could all live in an enchanted mansion with windows that can turn into eyes and a door that can become a mouth
Confection/ Toy Idea – Battle Cards (Non-Gambling Scratch card game for two people).
- A Battle card is a Non-Gambling game using scratch cards.
- Each scratch card conceals symbols with a value.
- One player scratches of the silver coating revealing their symbol; the other player does the same and the card with the highest value wins.
- Cards can have three rounds (Round 1; Round 2 and Round 3) printed on them.
- The cards could perhaps, just like bubblegum cards, come free in sweet packets.
Toy idea – Mini pop-ups (Like bubble gum cards but with pop-up like pictures inside like pop up books)
- This is a collectible card that, just like a bubble gum card or a sticker, you can perhaps get in a sweet packet or a cereal box but it is a folded card which, when you open it up, has a pop up picture like a pop-up book inside.
- I think that little girls would like these because, for example, you could have a mini-pop up that opens up and is a butterfly or a star or you could have pop up paper dolls that, when a child had finished playing with it she could just, if she wished, throw away.
- Or perhaps you could have monster pop up cards, like “Monster in my Pocket” with a different monster in each one.
- Surprise element – Also, until the card was opened, a child would not know what to expect and so there would be an element of surprise.
Burpina
Burpina is a doll like a whoopee cushion that, when you hug her makes a rude noise. I think this might make kids laugh.
