The Sun and Thunder

The Sun and Thunder had a child

and lion was his name,

with temper, ferocious and wild

and hair like solar flame.

Like thunder is the lions roar;

his leap like lightning, greased;

that’s why he fills men so with awe

and they call him king of beasts.
