The Tale of Johnny and Jenny

Once there was a little boy and girl named Johnny and Jenny who, whilst wandering through the woods came across an old rundown cottage with a door that was hanging off of its hinges and, after they both looked inside, Jenny said to Johnny.
"Why if we just cleaned and fixed this cottage up we could make a pretty little house for ourselves to play in".
And Johnny agreeing, they both went back a home and Jenny got a bucket and a mop and cloths, soap and water for cleaning and Johnny got a saw and hammer and nails and, together, they fixed up the house so that it looked all brand new.
But then, as they were sitting resting inside the cottage after all their hard work they heard the sound of loud footsteps getting closer and, looking out of the window they saw an old troll coming towards the house.
"Oh no", said Jenny to Johnny, "Perhaps this was his house what will we do?".
But then Johnny suggested they hide in an old cupboard he had fixed and so, opening the doors of the cupboard they both got inside and stayed very quiet and, while they were hiding in the cupboard, they heard the troll enter the house and then saying to himself,
"Someones been in my house and they've cleaned it and fixed it up too".
But then they heard a loud sniffing sound.
It was the sound of the troll sniffing them out with its long, troll nose and then, suddenly, opening the doors of the cupboard and looking inside he said,
"Aha! So there you are! I thought I smelled little children".
Frightened, Johnny and Jenny got down on their knees and started to weep and plead.
"Oh please don't eat us Mr Troll", they both begged.
But the Troll just smiled.
"Eat you?", he asked, "Why would I want to eat you when you've done such a wonderful job of cleaning and fixing my house?".
And then, much to their surprise, instead of trying to gobble them up, the Troll made them both a nice cup of tea and after that Johnny, Jenny and The Troll became the very best of friends.
