The Weather

The weather, it was windy.
My mum said, "Stay inside.
Stay in and play with all your toys
until the wind subsides".

 

The weather, it was rainy
so Mum said, "Stay indoors
and have fun playing with your games
until it rains no more".

 

The weather, it was stormy.
Mum said, "Stay in and play
or read one of your storybooks
till the storm goes away".

 

But then it became sunny
so Mum said, "Now it's fine
for you to go outside, my boy,
and play in the sunshine".
