Your Inheritance

“Here is your inheritance my child”, said the Father, proudly,  to his son, “Britain. All of Great Britain is yours. Your birthright. England is yours, Scotland is yours, Wales is yours”.

“All of it. But I don’t want all of it. I only want Scotland”, said the son.

“For heaven’s sake why?”, asked the father, bewildered, “You’re going to inherit the whole of Great Britain and you want to throw away the larger part of that inheritance”.

“But I don’t feel British. I only feel Scottish”, said the Son.

“Then more fool you”, said the father, “Scotland is all you shall have”.

Don’t let them steal England and Wales from the Scots or Scotland from the Welsh and the English.  Don’t let them break up our country. They have no right. It belongs to all of us
