A- The beauty of life, this beautiful girl

May you lend me a moment of your precious time
for myself to tell a story in words which may rhyme
about my love of nature and especially one fine place
where I used to wander in earlier days
I take a road which leads to her door
Long and winding (you've heard it before)
Since I have passion, I arrive always eager
because it's always too long since the last time I seen her
So now there she lies, bare in nature
The beauty of life, a most beautiful creature
So first I walk her plains so, so even
And silence befalls apart from deep breathing
I wander in circles tasting my sensations
of being in a wilderness of endless temptations
Ahead in the distance I see the two distant peaks
of which I've wanted to climb for god knows how many weeks
and as I slowly ascend those majestic mountains
They seem to get larger, the tops sort of pouting
I enjoy the spectacle as I rise even higher
knowing in their shadow, I can never get tired
Finally I weave my route to the simple crest
as I realise in this heat I'm a bit over dressed
So I take off my clothes never leaving the alter
of my worshipping flower I constantly water
And from this great height I gaze all around
like an overflowing river, I start to trickle down
And soon far below I enter a crevice
Descending in darkness from the peaks of Ben Nevis
While somewhere above I hear a seagull cry
The sea below opens before my eyes
And there for a moment I stop and gaze
At this scene of natural wonder, truly amazed
By the joy of life which envelopes my soul
the beauty of life, this beautiful girl
