Imagination or intuition?

CAST LIST:

ME = the day-to-day me, the one who shops, works and pays her bills.

MYSELF = is that point of consciousness outside of me, my personality if you like, that takes a more objective view of my life.

I = my link with spirit which comes on the heels of meditation, or in the throes of a meditative state when I am on the computer.

ME: There is something inviting about the computer screen when it is set against a dark night sky. This dialogue is shaking things down and freeing up the glue that has been holding me down. Why I don't know, but there is something in the process of dialogue that brings things to the surface. It is like naming something makes it real.

I: It is more complex than that it is accepting the different dimensions in which you are living the material and the spiritual, also represented as the mind and the brain. When you work with the crystals you are working with the mind and connecting to the universal mind. You are discovering things that you and your brain could not possibly know because it is not logic it is intuition, imagination.

MYSEF: Why is it not just fantasy then, imagining a feeling or a sense or a reaction within the crystal which after all is just a lump of rock.

ME: But it is not just a lump of rock is it. It has a history that can be tracked and identified by scientists and it has a vibration that is used to run computers and watches, so even a scientist would agree that crystals have an energy within them and can amplify energy that is sent through them ' otherwise they would not use them in conjunction with batteries.

But I know what you mean when you question the line between imagination and intuition and that is where the doubt creeps in. Today I was reading some crystals, I hold them and close my eyes and suddenly there are sensations in my body which seem real to me. On a good day it is as if the surface of my body is flat and grey, and then after holding a crystal and co9ncerntrating certain parts of my body light up in relief. I can see the heart and the circulatory system when I am holding one crystal, and the feet and the feet charkas when I am holding another. Then I am able to write down a description of the crystal and what it can be best used for, almost a little biography of the stone.

Now I cannot know that information in any logical way and I cannot prove that the information is correct, But it seems more useful to me than assuming all crystals are the same, because how can they be? How can anyone assume that the crystal structure under one country is exactly the same as under another, regardless of its method of formation?

I: When you read the crystal you are reading its energy pattern, it is as if you are capturing a picture of that particular river in its flow and matching it with your own river of consciousness in order to take a snap shot. Reading crystals is like taking the pulse of the Earth at that moment in time and then, once you work with them and hold them they being to absorb the energy and the thought patterns around them and change within their structure to accommodate that. So the next time you read the same crystal its energetic signature will be fundamentally the same, but your reading will be a snap shot of another moment in its progression.

MYSELF: Who is going to believe that, it is hard even for me to accept and I am the one holding the crystal and seeing the parts of the body light up, or realising the impact it is having on my emotions.

I: We come back to belief, we come back to the power of belief and the fact that belief can have an impact on what you draw towards you and how you interact with your environment.
Close your eyes, and think back to the anxiety you were expressing about the change you are facing in your life. The uncertainty, the panic and the feeling of being out of control. Where do you feel them?

ME: In my solar plexus swirling like a eddy in a pond of darkness.

I: Now look up and see that there is s star above your head, a six pointed star with a gentle golden light pouring from its heart. See that golden light reflected on the surface of your dark pool of water, allow it to enter through the top of your head and smoothly and slowly fill your body. Now take your consciousness to your solar plexus and make sure that there is a feeling of the energy no longer draining away but of a calmness and a gathering of strength. Open your eyes. How does that feel?

ME: Much calmer, the feelings were easily evoked, because of my memory of them, but also easily calmed and transformed.

I: What do you now feel about the change facing you?

ME: In control and strong enough to tackle it, step by step. I think what this has done is to allow me to see that I need to break it down into manageable chunks and not to conflate everything into a large cloud of uncertainty because there are points of certainty.

I: Nothing has in fact changed on a physical level, what has changed is your attitude to it and your belief that you can work your way through it. So how you approach things changes your prospect of success and that in turn influences your future.

ME: Is that the same as the concept of free will?

I: Yes, your future is literally within your minds eye. You create the energy field that creates your future.

MYSELF: That's not true other people affect my future, their decisions, their behaviour shapes my future.

ME: Yes, but the same actions can be seen in so many ways. You cannot change the actions of others but you can change your attitude of mind. There's a quotation there somewhere!
