Dear Everyone

I am glad I get the chance to write you because I understand how much it means to you, even if it's just to hear from me.

Since I went away, you have been sad. I have been sad too. I used to cry all the time. I still cry but not as much as before.

I cannot tell you what happened because I do not know. But don't worry. If I ever get to know, I will let you know - when I get home. Pinky promise.

you are so kind to give all that money for me. Over one million pounds. Wow. As soon as I get home, i am going to buy a big pink barbie doll for myself. I will use the rest of it to buy two smaller ones for Sean and Amelie. No. Sean may not want one because he's a boy. I think I will have to get him something else. Ask him what he would like when you see him, please.

I also want to thank you for all the love and care you have shown for me. It makes me want to come home even more. I am sure every day when you watch your tele, you pray to hear the good news about me. I am sorry too, that that day has not come sooner. But just keep praying. I pray every night before I go to bed and in the morning when I wake up. Sometimes i wake up in the night when I have a dream about my family. I find it hard to go back to sleep, so I just pray. Then I fell asleep.

I am allowed to watch cartoon sometimes. And I see pictures of me, and my mom and dad, and my little brother and sister. The person on the tele talk about me, but I don't understand the words. Can you tell me why they call me Maddie? Tell them that my name is Madeline. If they call me Maddie again, I will tell my mom and my dad - when I get home.

You must have been so happy when you heard that i was seen, first in Morrocco, then Spain, other places, and last, in Belgium. I was sad because I knew it was not me and I knew how it would make you feel when you find out. Those girls were pretty too. And so are you.

Please tell everyone that if they see me or a girl that look like me, they should tell my mom and my dad. As soon as possible. Not weeks or months after. And they should do the same if they see or hear anything that could help.

Dont worry too much. I am okay. But it gets boring at times. i wish I could go to school. then I would be able to have some friends to play with. I miss my mom and my dad. And my little brother and sister. And my friends. I miss everyone. I want to come home. When you see my mom and my dad, tell them to come for me. And bring Sean and Amelie with them.
