My stories

Million Miles to Freedom

There's a million miles to freedom Which path you headed down There's a million miles to freedom Got to get out of this crazy town

Alone - I stood

Alone - I stood Trembling, shivering

Life

Unended poems litter my floor - my landlord's call roams through the door

With Open Eyes

Up on a rooftop with no place to go Except to my apartment, one floor down below. The city noises are clear--some brilliant, some stoned. Over the ledge . . . some lady . . . why did she moan? The sounds are all real, not one is a lie. I don't recall the last time I saw a blue sky.

A Slice of Life

From the sky, under nature's umbrella, falls the white rain of last night's moon as I step outside to the porch and immerse myself in the innocence of glory.
