Posted on Sat, 08 Aug 2020
I suppose that we are all trying to make our way, survive in negotiation with ourselves, others, the world around us, the garden and the act of gardening is similar to me, in compromise with everything that lives in it too, and the painting...

This is very moving, Jenny.

This is very moving, Jenny. Have read your explanation behind the poem. I'm so sorry that your mum was in such a distressed place and that you went through this terrible experience. Your last line has such power, given that, words are so often...

Posted on Sun, 02 Aug 2020
I like this Penny, and I think that is so true that we are each viewing the world through our own prisms of experience. Prisms is such a good way of framing it. I like the way too that you take this from the individual to all the billions of us...

This is great. You have a brilliant way of writing something so that it makes you smile as well as see the depth of it. I probably haven't explained that very well, but I know what I meant and it is a good thing. Also I'm going to memorise that...

Thanks littleditty, am glad you like my raptor pondering. Yes, just recycling. The buzzards / grouse situation is grotesque, so distressing. Yeah, humans indeed, all the mindlessly cruel stuff that we do is just inexcusable. Thanks for reading it...
