I have a photo that shows what
it was like.
Me with Mexican moustache and
dad still young.
Up there on the mountain in that
small, black and white frame.
I am much younger and we are not
hill walkers.
Good humour shines against the
granite steepness.
Producing a feeling of space, of
boundaries expanded.
These years later, I follow my
daughter up the same track.
Look over to the sea again
collecting echoes from ghosts on the way.
Connected through time and
family feeling.
A view of life,
a bloodline of love.
