Erected on the 8th of December,
liberated from its dank, dusty hell
decorated on the 8th of Decenber,
from inside, you would never have imagined.

Decorated on the 8th of December
dark matter pulled and untangled,
admired on the 8th of December
no presents waiting beneath.

Admired on the 8th of December
tinsel galaxies strewn far and wide,
finished on the 8th of December
heaven shining down from atop.

Finished on the 8th of December
earth the crowning bauble,
yet to be taken down
sets of lights thrown all over,

yet to be taken down.

I liked this LOTO but I wondered if you were commited to the date - 8th Dec.(first day of Xmas?) It seemed to me that your analogy might hold up better of you were to use ''on the first day'' etc. I thought "tinsel galaxies strewn far and wide" was excellent.

I liked it very much...'On the first day' would make it corny and cliched if you ask me. Do you mean bauble rather than bobble by the way?

I suppose bauble is right, but my family and I have always said bobble for some reason. I changed it to make more sense to most(normal) people. Thanks. Glad you liked it.:)
