It died:
my computerised carrier
pigeon caught a cold
in the mountains.
I tried
the Short Message Service
but it was too terse
for sub-texting.
I cried
when the message-bottle
smashed, you can't reach the
sea from mountains.
I tied
a note to a heart-shaped
balloon and hoped it would blow
southward to you.
