The waking, the muttering,
The taking, the suffering,
The angles, the faces,
The wide-open spaces,
The spinning, the turning,
Like clockwork, it’s whirring,
The pieces, the blinding,
The hours our exciting,
The mornings, the evenings,
The time in between things
