If monkeys were writers,
donkeys would read:
but there are only
broken type-writers.
If angst was appealing
we'd all be sixteen;
but your tears aren't mine
and are unappealing.
If I am still laughing,
it is in the dark:
but for a monkey this
face is not laughing.

Sure you haven't had a
Sure you haven't had a sneaky few at home first?! Hilarious!
Wish I could go to the pub for tapas and beer...

Hang on, wasn't it still
Hang on, wasn't it still morning over there when you wrote this? If so, how very decadent!

Monkeys, bloody monkeys,
Monkeys, bloody monkeys, just look at what they've done!
Monkeyed around with everything and stolen all the fun.
So now the world's bananas when it should be slightly nuts.
Yet still the monkeys monkey sticking to their monkey ruts.
It never rains but it simply pours
Banks have debts but they don't have doors
Paper tigers growing claws
to claw back cash in the credit wars.
Meanwhile the monkeys uncontrite
Still pretend they're good and bright
While their masters promise not to fight
and tell us all will soon be right.
Acid seas, failing crops
monkey magic's constant flops
monkey missiles, Monkey drones
monkey chatter on mobile phones
Humans lose when Monkey wins
suffocate 'neath banana skins
