"You miss him like a part of you when he's not here, so why don't you just say something. What the hell's wrong with you?"
"You have to say something, not just for you, but for my sake. I can't cope with this madness!"
"Just do it. Now. And get milk while you're there: I just finished the last bottle."
My friends are so supportive.
I had been in love with the boy at the checkout counter for three months now and had gotten to know him quite well.
His gorgeous blonde hair is dyed and he wears green contacts because he hates his natural boring brown hair and eyes combo, he loves sports (especially surfing) his favourite ice-cream is Ben and Jerry's Baked Alaska, he doesn't believe in any sort of higher being, and he thinks the NASA moon landings were faked.
While gathering this information I had also tactfully let him discover quite a lot about me too. Like how I was a kind, generous person who is perfect friend/girlfriend/wife material.
It was going well.
