Summer's Mourn

Am I the lonely piper stood as stark
To sound the knell of autumns’ grey demise
And sing more sombre than the summers’ lark
Announcing winter’s dark and leaden skies
Does any other skulk and memories mourn
Of simmering days and blackbirds mating call
When honey makers did small flowers scorn
While busy making pollen heavy shawl
Is there somewhere, someone’s kindred mind
Sees further than diluted heavens globe?
Back or fore to where same star would shine
And rainbow coloured petals would disrobe
And yet as yore I must accept in calm
The turning of the wheel in keeping track
Because in every circles very charm
The going is at once the coming back

- love the last lines Chris. A very charming poem! And don't talk to me about the weather! It's on the verge of snowing in West Yorkshire ;)
