Devil drives long black limonene
With broken rocks ground to dust
Teeth marks in leather pale your skin
One day you may choke on a plastic straw
Devil flicks twenties; as the black window shuts
Devil drives your addiction
He has the means to your end
Bubble up your brew on a silver spoon
He holds a candle to you
As your needle searches eventual connection
Each vein becomes evanescent
It drives you to assuage
The Devil smiles
Hidden eyes are shades of black
But he know you will be coming back
The Devil Drives

First time I commented on
First time I commented on your work and I love you work, don't know why I didn't post before.
As your needle searches eventual connection
Each vein becomes evanescent
So emotive and revealing, damn you got talent.
Keep up the good work.

What is a limonene? The net
What is a limonene? The net tells me some sort of hydrocarbon...am a bit confused.
Imagery is superb in the rest of the poem,
