If I was a flower,
I would grow by the hour,
Just like my love does for you,
But I don't know if you'd want it to.
There are so many flowers, I don't know if you'd pick me,
I am so small, so delicate, not like the big beautiful tree,
She is amazing, clever and cool,
I can't believe I tried to make you happy,
I feel such a fool.
But unfortunately, you can't pick a tree,
So I'm afraid to say, you can only have me,
Or any other flower in the grass,
Time seems to move so fast.
It may be unfair, but so true,
She may not love you,
But always know,
I still do...
