How little we know of life
and yet we live.
Maybe ‘tis how we live
that makes us what we are?
How little we know of love
and yet we love.
Maybe ‘tis how we love
that makes us what we are?
How little we know of death
and yet we die.
Maybe ‘tis how we have lived,
loved and died
that, makes our memory
a gift or burden,
for those who carry it!

Notice the exclamation mark.
