Dear Lord

I have wandered,
Dear Lord,
into the wilderness.
I am,
Dear Lord,
slightly lost.
I seek
the truth.
Help me
find myself;
Look into
my heart,
Dear Lord.
Past the hurt and the pain,
See me for what I am.
Cast me from my shame,
Dear Lord,
I am your servant;
I always was.
Somehow I have become weighlaid.
Again.
Save me now,
Dear Lord,
from being another's prey.
You are my hope,
My Saviour,
Throughout the night and darkest day;
Guide me;
Shine forth
to stem the tide
of doubt and fear,
Hear my prayer , I pray.
Dear Lord,
on high,
Protect me.
Save me now
This night of nights
Hear my breathless sigh
A tear
for you
is all I have.
A tear
of joy
I cry
