I roll the words around my mouth
And wonder what they mean
For others I feel sure
It is not the same as me.
I worry that I too
Could fail as miserably.
For what have I to measure
Against, but failure.
I wish that it was different,
But I know that it is not
And wishes are no protection
From the harsh realities of fate.
