Same night every year
when the sky is clear
we climb the mountain
build a wood fire and
tell the stars storys
drink some fires brew
smell cooking smoking
hedgehog and potatoes
because the tradition
tells us what it eats
dont feel sorry for a
hedgehog sad creature
they wont come to you
like a dog or cat dos

Really intriguing poem, Kahdai! I can see and feel the warmth of that campfire now. Especially poignant last line too. Just a few typos I spotted: 'storys' should be 'stories' and 'dos' should be 'does' ;)

Hi Kahdai,
enchanted poem. Love the idea of climbing a mountain,
building a fire. A real getting back to nature poem.
Very enjoyable.
Jenny.
