Cold air rushed open wide, my window
As shadows of the dark
Crawled, gently on the northside wall
Hear it! the eerie noise, whistling
My blessed name, crippling upon darkness'
dark, and haunting prayer
Tis was never been a dreaming thought
Of mine, yet still on this twilight
Why the gentle brush of horrors, kept me
Sane, awake, each every night?
Watching the aparitions dance with the devil
In the cold, pale moonlight
