Goverment Warming

Turning your washing machine down to thirty,
Is going to end up with your clothes still dirty,
And that’s not attractive when you’re getting all flirty,
Down at the club with your brand new birdie.
Talking of them, they’re flying in the sky,
With pollutants and too much carbon dioxide;
Warming the Earth until temperatures are too high,
And the media are saying that it’s auto-suicide.
That we’re to blame and that we’re the cause.
We’re the sharks chewing up energy just like Jaws.
But we only do what’s best for us, of course,
But what is best of us with all of these new laws?
Petrol’s price is taking the piss right now,
It’s getting higher, like the trousers on Simon Cowel.
And all this hybrid tech is just not hitting the shelves,
So we’re just about ready to through in the towel.
What can we do; recycle and pray?
And hope that this mess will just go away?
But it won’t and we have to live with it everyday,
Until someone stands up and starts to say:
It’s not us, and we’re not making a change,
It’s the producers and the government who’re all to blame,
But they can’t see it and it’s such a shame,
That they're causing the world to boil and flame.
But if they invest and stop being greedy fools,
Then every country can pick up the tools,
To fix this issue and to make new rules,
So we won’t have to watch this planet fall.
This major problem has gone past its dawning,
And this planet’s gonna blow without a warning,
Can’t the world leaders hear us calling?
That it’s their duty to stop global warming…
