The lingering clouds hold me close
The simmering tears pull me apart
The thought of your light gone forever
Sways me in the soft breeze
My knees buckle before me, as my arms (indecision marred)
Fail in their attempts to console me
I fall against the wall of a building I no longer recognize,
The world is still for a while
The thunder signals the downpour,
The silent scream reverberates across it all
Lightning strikes
All of life is in pieces, shreds, all equal broken parts
I do not feel the rain
The soft breeze now a calm wind licks at my tears
Forever passes
Each and every breath after is my last
Wet and weary and torn apart
I am but remnants of a broken heart.

Ahh, adora. Bliss, I loved
Ahh, adora.
Bliss, I loved this.
You should send this to Sebastian Faulks.
He could add this to his book of Love stories.
