Riding the clouds,
chill showers
give the shoots to drink,
as green tide flows
in old anticipation.
Sun glares down
on shimmering streets.
Cars float on mirage roads.
Dogs follow their tongues
to shadowed places.
Dying in golden glory,
leaves spin down
the fading shafts
to lie in state:
to lie in wait.
In comfortless cloak
of darkness lit by snow,
swirling in the lamps,
swathing naked earth;
dreaming of new birth

Lovely. I liked
Lovely.
I liked
"...shimmering streets..." "...mirage roads..."
and "...Dogs follow their tongues..."
How did you know that was me?
