I didn't know when flower dies, the bulb of it is a fruit green or orange and one can eat. Didn't know. Mean to be crucifixtion. We tried front little garden nothing, then the back,or front garden, yes it took few years the cuts from brother gave me never took. Last year as my back can't do garden, daughter and friend clipped it back, loves hot weather so hope get some blooms this year, climbs like ivy.
