Marking Time

Today was tomorrow
Tomorrow becomes yesterday
And yesterday is gone
So we go on to the next
Not knowing the first,
Until it's too late and forever gone.
Time is diminished, dwindled away
You cannot reclaim it another day
Times goes by; it carries on,
Another day has passed its dawn.
Mark the hours and minutes that pass,
Some go slowly, some go fast.
Mind your time and mind it well
You cannot buy it, nor can you sell
Before we were and after we'll be,
Time is for eternity.

Hi L G Meadows,
I really like the sentiment behind this poem, don't
waste time, because it's gone in a second.
Jenny.
