We’re playing it by ear
This thing we don’t call love
Because it’s too new
And we don’t want to jinx it.
I just know my pulse races
And my stomach
Does a funny somersault
When I catch sight of you.
I love the way we talk
And explore, laugh and touch.
Connecting and parting
To connect again.
No, we won’t call it love
We won’t give it a name.
We’ll just experience it
This thing we don’t call love.
